Getting to a Different System

The current monetary system is often controlled by central authorities, such as central banks, which can create conflicts of interest and limit the ability of individuals and businesses to make financial decisions.  Fiat money is subject to inflation, which can erode its value over time. In addition, the value of fiat money is often tied to the stability and credibility of the issuing government, which means that it can be vulnerable to political and economic instability.

Can there be a perfect monetary system?  Probably not.  Right now however, the aim towards a better monetary system where the value of crypto currencies fluctuate based on the ecological performance of the underlying country can be accomplished.

Some potential approaches that could be considered include:

Establishing independent, third-party organizations to collect and verify data on environmental performance.  These organizations could use a variety of techniques, such as satellite imagery, on-the-ground measurements, and data from other sources, to gather accurate and reliable data on topics such as greenhouse gas emissions, renewable energy generation, and water and air quality.

Developing standardized methods and protocols for collecting and reporting data on environmental performance.  This could help to ensure that data is collected and reported in a consistent and transparent manner, and that it is comparable across different countries and regions.

Implementing robust systems for verifying and auditing the data that is collected.  This could involve using advanced technologies such as blockchain or other distributed ledger systems to ensure the integrity and security of the data.

Engaging stakeholders from different sectors and countries in the process of collecting and reporting data.  This could help to ensure that the data reflects the views and experiences of a diverse range of people and organizations, and that it is relevant and meaningful to different users.
